What is breathwork?
Breathing is healing medicine. It is a free tool of pure love energy that is available to us anytime, anywhere – no matter the path we are traveling.
For centuries, ancient and modern tribes have sought spiritual awakening through various forms of breathing techniques. Modernized in the 60’s and 70’s, breath work took its place on the mat with respected yogis around the world professing its integrative power.
Today, the power of breathwork has not changed but its demand has. In the fast-paced bustle of our advanced world, more and more of us are seeking calm, groundedness, awakeness, and purpose. Breath supports this search.
Through focussed and gentle breathing practice, conscious breathing finds its way into our nervous system, aiding the release of trauma-based depression, tapping into our hardened heart centers, and helping us to achieve harmony between our minds and our physical reality.
This is not meditation.
This is Integration.
Many of us may confuse breathwork with meditation. Breathwork is a form of consciously instigated inhales and exhales that activate the body’s blood flow and reset the mind’s neural pathways.
Breathwork is vigorous on the surface and deeply restorative on the inside, training the mind and the body to work together, and not against each other.
With regular breathwork practice, alone or in a group, you will learn to recognize truth and lean into your natural innate love energy. These breathing practices are designed to raise the vibrational pull of your body, your mind, and your heart center for a fuller, happier more integrated lifestyle.
